About Me

Hello!  My name is Sarah, and I am a creative and innovative thinker dedicated to cultivating a community surrounding artistic solutions to everyday problems.  I have spent the past 8 years  learning about interior design through classes, experimentation, readings, videos, and exploration.  My passion for design has led me to create my own major at Wesleyan, allowing me to truly gain meaningful insights pertaining to design as a topic of study.

The summer before my first semester of college, I was very excited to move into my dorm room and have a blank slate space that I could truly make my own. However, I struggled with packing and visualizing what I really wanted and needed for my new space.  I wished that I’d had access to a resource that would help me plan out my space before move-in day.

As a student at Wesleyan, I always felt inspired by the dorm rooms of others.  Oftentimes I would walk into a dorm room with exactly the same dimensions as mine and I would be in awe of  how the owner of that room chose to organize it.  In my opinion, the art of decoration and organization is best when shared with others.  This is why I am very excited to create a space where Wesleyan students can gain dorm inspiration .
