College is a stressful time, and dorm rooms should not add to the surmounting school work and extracurriculars that you’re already juggling. If you are a student at Wesleyan, you should be sure to check out the Freecycle listserv before purchasing dorm room essentials. Don’t throw away that perfectly good 6-shelf drawer unit – put it on Freecycle and see if someone else wants it instead!
